We will have homework everyday except Fridays. I believe that homework is very important because it allows your child to have a one-on-one experience with a parent or guardian. It also allows the child to become responsible in getting the work done and returned to school the next day. We will have homework in Phonics and Math. Phonics and Math Assessments are given every Friday to ensure your child is learning what he/she needs to know. Children who complete their homework everyday become very good students!

Spelling words and sentences will also need to be reviewed at home. Spelling tests are given on Fridays.

You are extremely important in helping your child get his homework finished and returned to school the next day.
