Welcome to 4th grade. The subjects I teach are:
Math, Social Studies, and Science. I have taught in the Wylie District (and 4th grade) since 1984.
I graduated from ACU in 1983 with a B.S.Ed and again in 1985 with a Masters' Degree in Reading. I met my wonderful husband, Scott in the ACU Big Purple Band. I played clarinet and he played trumpet. Scott teaches 5th grade Science at Ortiz Elem. in Abilene. We have 3 totally awesome children: Whitney, a freshman at ACU; Courtney, a junior at Cooper HS; and Jesse, a freshman at Cooper. All three of our kids are in the band. Whitney plays the trumpet in the ACU Big Purple Band, Courtney plays the clarinet and Jesse plays the trumpet-they are both in the Awesome Cooper Band. Scott and the kids are on a competing/performing jump rope team - the Jammin' Jumpers. Scott is also the head coach. They have competed in several state and National jump rope tournaments. We also have 3 dogs.
