The main focus of the Life-Skill classroom is to teach tasks to help special needs children become more independent in their homes, at school, and in the community at large. Our curriculum will range from those skills needed for basic survival to those that will enhance leisure time. Personal independence will be stressed as the children mature with an emphasis on safety.
A large part of my time is spent helping each child feel good about who he or she is. My main objective is to make school a happy and productive time for each child. Feel free to visit my classroom anytime to see what a difference we are making in the lives of our students. Susan Langford
