Hi! I am Stephanie Jennings and this is my third year to teach. I really enjoy teaching second grade. I love to see the students faces light up when they have learned something new.
In my class we are all teachers as well as students. We all have knowledge to share.

Our curriculum here at Elementary builds upon the knowledge gained in Kindergarten and First Grade and prepares them for Third Grade. Second graders will continue using the Saxon Math and the Scholastic Reading Series. Other programs the students will be introduced to are the Shurley Method and Multisensory Grammar for Language Arts and the Accelerated Reader Program to compliment our reading program. This is a great year for your child to gain some independence in their working and thinking. I hope you will visit our website often and see the exciting things going on in Second Grade.
