The following deadlines are in association with the district's guidelines for identification of the Gifted and Talented students.

Nov. 2, 2007 - Parents may pick up a G/T packet from the counselor's office.

Jan. 11,2008 -Portfolio is due by 3:45 p.m. At this time the parent will sign up for one of two testing dates and fill out the SIGS Parent Inventory. (Saturday, Jan. 19 or 26, 2008)

Jan. 19 & 26, 2008 - G/T testing at the Elementary School

Mar. 3, 2008- Kindergarten G/T services begin for those who have been identified.

*Make a Difference Day - Oct. 27, 2007 - Collect items for House that Kerry Built and Abilene Food Bank

*Nov. 7, 2007 - Young Audiences

*Dec. 7, 2007 - Adopt a Child Christmas Party at the High School

*Feb. 5 & 7, 2008 - Voices Unmasked

*Apr. 11, 14, 15 - Sparky Dean - Bicycle Safety

*Apr. 2008 - MAT Metropolitan Achievement Testing for K, 1st, and 2nd grades
