Hi. Welcome to 7th grade Life-Science. My name is Nellie Parrish and this is my seventh year to teach at Wylie Junior HIgh. I was raised in Paint Rock Texas where i attended grade school, and finish out my high school years at Ballinger ISD. I attended Hardin-Simmons University, where I was active in FCA and Basketball.
I was married to a wonderful husband, Mark, and going on our 3rd year of marriage. We have a 15 month old blessing from God, called Hunter.
I have thoroughly enjoyed working at Wylie and fell blessed to work with great students and friends. OUr focus in 7th Grade Life-Science is to build upon the knowledge attained last year and to develop higher thinking skills. We will be participating in three lab dissections this year. They are the earthworm, cow eyeball, and the frog. We try to implement many labs into the curriculum, so students have more hands on experience.
