Hi! I'm Nancy Crow and I teach Second Grade. This is my 24th year to teach. I really enjoy teaching Second graders and seeing them grow through out the year, not only in size but knowledge. We have a wonderful staff here at Elementary and lots of exciting things planned for the year.


Our curriculum in second grade builds upon the knowledge gained in Kindergarten and First Grade and prepares them for Third Grade. Second graders will continue using the Saxon Math and the Scholastic Reading Series. Other programs the students will be introduced to are the Shurley Method and Multisensory Grammar for Language Arts and the Reading Counts Program to compliment our reading program. This is a great year for your child to gain some independence in their working and thinking. I hope you will visit our website often and see the exciting things going on at Intermediate.
