Hi!
My name is Nancy Baker and I am a 4th Grade Math teacher here at the Intermediate campus of Wylie ISD. I have been teaching here almost 20 years, and I still love it.
My 2 partners and I share subjects with 3 classes. I teach Math, Mrs. Wallace teaches Reading and Language Arts, and Mrs. Coor teaches Social Studies, Science, and Writing.
We have a great group of students and wonderful supportive parents.

In our Math class we use the Saxon program with supplemental materials from other sources. We are enjoying having the Promethean Board, and interactive white board combination computer monitor. It is a joy to use and the children love it as well.

On Mondays, we send a parent letter to let you know what to expect that week. Included are topics of study, test schedules, and school news. This letter will be in the students' Monday white folder along with their work from the previous week. Communication about the students' behavior is on the left side of the folder on a citizenship page. Please sign this folder on the bottom of that page and return the folder as soon as possible.

We are reviewing and preparing for the TAKS Math test at the end of April. Please support our efforts to help your child by bringing him/her to tutorials if he/she has been referred. We are working overtime to help every child be successful, and we really appreciate your support when you go the extra mile to get him/her here early or pick them up late.
Your children are our priority.
