Hi, my name is Michelle Smith. I am the Speech-Language Pathologist assigned to Wylie Elementary School. I work with children from 3 years old through first grade.

The following process is required to be eligible for speech-language therapy:
1. Complete a referral packet (contact the school counselor)
2. Once the referral packet is completed, the Speech
Pathologist has 30 school days to complete a speech-
language evaluation.
3. Once testing has been completed, an ARD (Annual-Review-
Dismissal) meeting will be scheduled within 30 calendar
days to discuss the evaluation results. If the child
meets the eligibility criteria to receive speech
therapy services, a schedule will be developed.
