Stone Fox
Stone Fox is about ten-year-old Willy. Willy needs to win the big dogsled race in order to pay the back taxes on his grandfather's farm, but that means beating the huge Indian mountain man, Stone Fox. Read this book to see if Willy and the dog he loves, Searchlight, will win this big race?

I have been taking grades on our minute math facts. Please remember it is your child's responsibility to be working on flashcards at home. Every Monday night's homework list consist of practicing flashcards.

The contest for Box Tops ends soon! There are several classes ahead of us but we can catch up. Talk to your friends and family about saving Box Tops and send the to school!

* With the flu, stomach bug and everything in between, please make sure your child is washing his/her hands as often as possible.

I will be pressing down on homework assignments this semester. There will be a 10 point deduction every day a homework assignment is late. I will also be sending any work a child does not complete during the provided hours home to be completed by the next day. The same rule applies for grades with daily work being returned.
