I graduated from high school from Colorado City and went to McMurry University where I graduated with honors from the education department. This is my third year to teach in the Wylie School District and I have enjoyed working with the students and the community of our district.
I have a love for art, music, reading, and traveling. I studied music for nine years, playing flute and piano, and have been singing since I could speak. I want to build a love of music in each of my students. I have had great opportunities of traveling to many countries all over the world in the past few years, including: Mexico, England, Scotland, Ireland, and Israel. Most of these trips included serving the people of the nations. I hope to teach the students the importance of serving and helping others in times of need.
I believe that teaching is a calling and I have been called to serve your children by preparing them for the great adventures that will come to them in the future. I will be teaching our subject areas but I also want to teach life lessons that the children can use to become active and productive members of society - such as communication skills, problem-solving, and teamwork. |
