This begins my 19th year of teaching. I taught first grade for 3 years in Cleburne, TX. I stayed home raising my three children for 15 years before returning to the teaching field here in Wylie as a fourth grade teacher. This begins my 16th year here.
My husband, Dr. David Wallace, is an ACU Bible professor. We attend Southern Hills church of Christ where he is an elder. He also preaches on Sunday mornings at Burkett, TX close to Cross Plains. He is very busy.
We have a son and daughter-in-law who live here. Paul is a Middle Youth minister at SH and his wife, Lori, teaches Spanish at Wylie High School. They have our only little precious grandbaby, Macy Grace, who is almost a year and a half old. She lights up our lives!
Our middle son is in Denver, CO. Matt and his wife Nikki have a ministry working with homeless teenagers on the city streets of Denver called the Dry Bones ministry. Yes, I was scared at first, but know how much they are loved by those kids, so I don't worry as much now for their safety.
Our daughter, Sharon and her husband Kevan Albright have just moved to Nashville, TN, where she has begun her teaching career this year teaching third grade. He is a student at Belmont earning a music business degree.
David and I have two dogs, a lab named Hunter and a shitsue (sp) named Feller. They are a lot of company now that the kids are grown.
I enjoy loving your kids and have fun teaching them everything I can get them to soak up. I look forward to a great year this year.
