Hello, my name is Lisa Salmon and I am the counselor at Wylie Middle School. This is my sixth year as counselor at the Middle School and I love it! I was reared in Odessa, Texas where I lived for 25 years before I moved to Abilene. I graduated from Hardin-Simmons University (twice). The beginning of my education career began at Wylie Intermediate in 1992. Since then I have taught 3rd grade in Midland and 4-6 grade Reading in Clyde. I came back to Wylie in 1997.
I liked teaching but I have really found my niche in school counseling!
