Welcome to Pre-K! I am so excited to be your child’s first Wylie Teacher! Although I have been on a 15 year maternity leave, I am ready to get back into public education. I have taught Pre-K for 2 days a week at Beltway Park CDC for the past 5 years. Before I had children, I taught 3rd Grade, 1st - 5th Reading and 1st Grade. If you have older children, they may recognize me as one of their substitutes during the past two years. I also worked as a Pre-K aide at Wylie during the beginning of school last year. I love 4- and 5- year olds! I feel very blessed to have this opportunity to teach your children. As a parent, it may be bittersweet to send your children to school. Sometimes, it is hard to let go! I want you to know that I will love and protect them while they are in my care.

As mentioned above, I have a 15-year-old Sophomore. His name is Austin. Next, I have a 12-year-old son named Tyler. He is in 6th grade. My youngest daughter, Lacy, is a 7-year-old 2nd grader. My husband, Jay, is a Documentation Specialist at Milsoft. We have been married for 18 years. He is very supportive of my new role as a Pre-K teacher! I anticipate a great year!
