Hi, my name is Linda Davis, and I am an old timer at Wylie High School where I have taught for twenty-one years. Coming to Abilene from the Corpus Christi area, I fell in love with West Texas and its people. I have a bachelor's and a master's degree in English Education from Abilene Christian University. Above all things I love to read.

At Wylie High School I teach sophomore and junior English. In English II we concentrate on fine tuning the students' use of grammar and skills in writing. In English III we study people's motivations, perspective, and experiences. Of course, preparation for the TAKS test is included with everything we do. The big project for juniors is the end-of-year research paper.
