I'm a third year teacher with Wylie Pre-K and I'm very excited to be your child's first Wylie teacher. Everyday in Pre-K is a new adventure in learning and if your child learns half as much as I learn this year, he/she will slide right into Kindergarten.
A little information about myself would include that my husband John and I have been married 25 years. We are parents to Michael, 19, and Providence, 21. Our greatest joys include our granddaughter, Tiyanna, and the news that we have a second grandchild on the way!

This week you should be enjoying your summer vacation and I'm busy setting up a new room for the '08-'09 school year.

I love to read! We will read an average of two to four books a day in our class. The majority of our lessons are literacy-based, which means that I use a book as part of each lesson and activity. Although we will be doing much reading in the classroom, be sure to keep reading at home!
