The 6th Grade GT students will be concentrating on Student Leadership, Service-Learning, critical and creative thinking skills, and problem solving with real world issues. Students will be interacting with their community and working towards earning the Presidential Volunteer Service Awards. Students are taught utilizing a differentiated curriculum.

The 5th Grade GT students will be introduced to Service Learning and Student Leadership concepts through the STARS model. The students will be developing and expanding their critical and creative thinking skills through problem solving experiences in a differentiated curriculum tailored to meet their needs.

All 5th and 6th grade students will have the opportunity to audition for the Destination Imagination Program. The information meeting is scheduled for Sept. 20th at 7 P.M. and auditions will be held for the Middle School on the 4th of October from 3:30-5 P.M. The Jr. High and High School Auditions will be held at 6 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. at the Middle School Cafeteria. The Texas Website for information is www.texasdi.org
