Language |
We’ll finish out Unit 4 this week by reviewing all the concepts we’ve learned in the unit. We will work on a & an, capitalization & punctuation, and contractions. We’ll start our final unit next week.
|
|
Math |
Our math concepts for the week are:
*identifying intersecting & perpendicular line segments
*writing number sentences for arrays
*identifying right angles
*writing the digital date
*locating points on a coordinate graph
*multiplying by four
As you are working with your child on their multiplication facts, help them remember that they are looking at patterns. Multiplying by 3’s & 4’s is easier when they realize they are counting by 3’s or 4’s. Again, be practicing the basic addition and subtraction facts. Without those basic facts, two– and three-digit addition and subtraction is much more difficult.
