I also teach two periods of "speech". Communication Application is an elective here at Wylie Junior High that allows students to receive high school credit. (one semester in speech and one semester of health.) This site is currently underconstruction, so I hope you will join us again soon for all the latest news.

Theatre welcomes the 6th grade to the Junior High campus!

6th graders now have more choices of electives than ever before. Introdution to Theatre is an elective that is worth .5 credits. It is only a half of a year (one semester) long. The other half credit is shared with Multimedia, which is another new, fun and exciting class!

In Introduction to Theatre we participate in many activities that help develop skills such as improvisation, characterization,
inflection, and projection. There are five major units that each student will have hands on experience with:
Puppet Theatre
Reader's Theatre
Radio Theatre
Commercials
Lip Sync
