Language arts includes many forms of media. We will be working with art and writing creative stories based on the art. We will also read some science-fiction. Advanced will be reading "War of the Worlds" and English will be reading "The Time Machine."

Homework
We always have homework. Spelling is done weekly, as are vocabulary and SAT words. You can never read too much of your AR book. Anything we don't get finished in class is also homework. Just remember, there's always something to do!
The 8th grade class will be going on a fieldtrip on October 11, 2006. We will be gone during the morning, only. We will return before lunch. students will going to the CCA, the Paramount, Vletas, and the NCCIL.
