Hi!! I am so excited to be teaching Life Skills at Wylie Junior High. We work on Academics as well as Functional Life activities. We learn constantly and have fun while we're at it. We go to P.E. and lunch with the 7th graders and then we join Art I each afternoon. We also get to know our community by taking CBI (Community Based Instruction) field trips. We will have 5 or 6 trips each semester. Many of these will be with other Life Skills students from other schools. I am looking forward to an exciting year!!
I also teach Content Mastery each afternoon. I am able to work with any 7th or 8th graders who need a little extra help.
Through each day, in all our classes, we have a blast learning important skills that we'll use the rest of our lives.
