Hello! welcome to Carol Stringfellow's home page. I am a graduate of Florida State University with a BS in Math Education and also a graduate from Georgetown College (KY) with a master's in Education. I have completed 29 years teaching on the Jr. High, High School, and college levels.
Currently I am teaching Algebre I, GT Math 7 and Investigative Math at Wylie Jr. High. Algebra I is a high school class that is the study of functions and their graphs. We have access to TI-83 Plus graphing calculators for this class. Students with high 7th-grade math scores and good work habits are usually recommended for Algebra I at the 8th-grade level. GT Math 7 accelerates to take our 8th-grade course. Investigative Math is an elective (a 2nd math course) that explores many high school level topics. It involves preparing students for competitions in math, calculator, number sense and science. Students must be recommended for this class. For further information, e-mail me at
